Having lived and worked in several countries, Chief Procurement Officer Sergiu Octavian Corla knows the power of diversity, shared values, and an inclusive work culture. “I have spent a large part of my adult life living and working abroad. Hailing from Romania and having lived for several years in both Denmark and Spain, I have an international outlook that try to infuse into our organization every day.
Danhydra is on a fast-paced growth track, and as we continue to move into new markets, we become increasingly diverse. A few years ago, everyone here was based in Denmark and now we have a truly international organisation.
This creates a high mix of cultures, backgrounds, and mindsets. In some places, that could be a challenge but here, our CORE values, mindset, and our 360-degree approach really unites us and help turn that growing diversity into a business driver.
I think that is crucial in securing collaboration across locations, time zones, and cultures – and I think it plays a big part in our ability to grow organically and controlled.

I believe a company’s work culture and business results are naturally connected. In procurement, we look at the entire value chain and try to optimize every step. You can’t really point to one single element – it’s all about the big picture.
