Job opening: Business Controller
Responsibility for securing proactive and scalable finance system at Danhydra
We are now actively looking for a Business Controller to work from our office in Herning, Denmark
With reference to the Finance Manager, and joining a team of finance professionals, working with accounting, reporting, and both financial and business controlling. (Currently 5 in Denmark and 5 located in the US and Germany).
You will have two areas of responsibility, one being the business partnering towards production, sales and development with cost and project controlling. The second, participating in the development and optimization of IT-system and processes to secure proactive and scalable finance system and processes for the upcoming challenges in a growing global organization.
Your responsibilities will cover:
- Support the business with systematic and timely analysis of planned performance vs actual performance.
- Point of contact for your colleagues regarding support and development of the ERP system Navision and other IT tools.
- Contribute to a high-quality level of master data within Danhydra.
- Cost calculation and project controlling.
- Optimization of processes and procedures (continuously maintained and improved in a lean an effective manner) in collaboration with colleagues in the different functions and business units.
- Support the organization with the relevant data needed to make substantiated decisions.
- Ad hoc tasks to support company development.
The position will be situated in Herning, and you should expect approx. 15-20 travelling days per year.

Experienced Business Controller with a profound commercial understanding and strong IT-skills.
We expect you to hold a relevant degree within finance combined with min. 3-5 years of experience from a similar position as Business Controller in an international organization business partnering towards various business units.
You have a thorough understanding and experience of cost calculation and/or project controlling. You have strong Excel and ERP skills combined with knowledge of Business Intelligence tools. We expect you to communicate fluently in both Danish and English.
As a person, you are ambitious and commercial driven with the motivation to support the business with financial insights and strong IT-structure and processes. You are curious and proactive and your approach to work is structured, analytical, and characterized by your ambition to continually improve and challenge the organization. You are an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
